About
I make collages from the physical media people stopped keeping... nature photography, product ads, catalogs of a future that already happened. Cut by hand and glued down. Strange, tender, and sometimes little bit funny.
I went to school for graphic design, back when most of what I made lived on a screen; digital collages, logos, flyers, banners for shows. Then music took over, and I left school to chase the dream.
Collage found its way back to me years later, but this time with a blade and a glue stick instead of a mouse. Everything here is cut by hand from found print… no layers, no undo, just whatever the magazine gives me and whatever I can make it say. The titles do half the talking and I’m just having fun with it.
Alongside the collages I work in oil pastel and mixed media, and I’m open to commissions for album art, posters and book covers. The old flyer-and-sleeve instincts never left. In the Lavender is where it all lives.
